  Our manatee population is in the area year-round but the best time is the winter months from November 15th to April 1st. Cold-weather brings in manatees during these months. If it warms up, they can migrate to the Gulf for food. Scalloping is from July 1st to September 24th and the best time to come is earlier in the season.
  We have snorkeling gear for adults and children, but always recommend bringing yours if you are more comfortable with it. On our manatee swim tours with Seacow Safaris: wetsuits, hot chocolate or tea, and an underwater photographer are included.
Military and teachers all receive a 10% discount off the total of the tour cost. We appreciate everything you do for us! Cancellations policy is: Before 48 hours 100% Refund, within 48 hours 50% refund, and within 24 hours there is NO REFUND, Change of date has a $100.00 fee. If the captain cancels, full refund will be issued or a free change of date/time. If a reschedule is made by the customer and the future trip is cancelled by the customer, there is NO REFUND.
Bathing suit and a change of clothes (you’ll be getting wet), towels, sun protection (hat/sunscreen), cameras (photos are provided on manatee tours), cash/credit card for tips and marina fees.
  Manatees are wild animals, sightings can’t be guaranteed on any tour. Trips are designed to maximize opportunities to see them in their natural habitat, but animals move and behave freely.
Dogs are allowed on private tours.
No expert skill is required! You’ll be floating and snorkeling gently near the manatees, our guides will assist and ensure everyone’s comfort. Most people just need to be comfortable in water. If you are not comfortable in the water and pose a threat to yourself or our guides, you will have to remain on the boat. We will put your safety first.
